LDM-LEADERSHIP AND DECISION MAKING WORKSHOP© - OUR FLAGSHIP Workshop
This one-day workshop introduces a variety of leadership concept and decision-making processes applicable in incident command, consequence management and business impact situations.
The foundation for the process used has been adapted from elements from the Department of Defense, Special Operations Command and combines with present day doctrines from the Department of Homeland Security and best business practices. These concepts are consistent with and are contemporary to the National Incident Management System, the National Response Framework and National Recovery Framework and General Higher Educational Business Management Systems.
Additional items that are explored include:
*Fundamentals of leadership and key principles
*Expectation and Intent,
*Understanding and evaluating the needs in a rapidly changing environment,
*key decision logging to document choices,
*Formal decision making processes,
*The Practice of Adaptive Leadership
All of these ideas culminate in having the tools to be better prepared, stay prepared and execute as a leader.
